The solstice this year will fall on the full moon: the last time this happened was 2002, and my husband, photographer Kenneth Cain, took a photograph of that candlelit labyrinth...
We hope to walk the beach labyrinth this year at North Beach Park, on the beach, where I have been building temporary sand labyrinths every solstice for five or six years...we will bring candles, but I'll bet the moonlight will light our way!

As a teacher and lettering and book artist, I have so much to share with friends, collegues, students and perhaps others I don't yet know...hoping to show more than I write, so I'm hoping to teach myself how to post jpgs as soon as possible...
